Welcome to SSB for EMSO

The Standards Setting Body for Explosives, Munitions and Search Occupations (SSB for EMSO) is a voluntary body which represents the explosives industry.

It is charged with the development, maintenance and review of National Occupational Standards and NVQs for the various occupational roles within the industry and it comprises representatives of the explosives, munitions and search sectors.
